Add Health to Our Years - AHOY
The Greensboro Parks and Recreation Seniors Unit offers free low-impact aerobics classes for seniors age 55 and better called AHOY. The classes include warm up, aerobics, cool down, and strength training with hand weights and/or exercise bands. The workouts can be modified by you to fit your abilities.
AHOY Inclement Weather Policy
Classes are conveniently located at seven different recreation centers throughout the city. Classes are ongoing throughout the year with the exception of holidays and revised summer schedules. Pre-registration is not required. On your first visit, let the instructor know you are new and you will be given a registration/health form to complete.
If you cannot attend class in person, you can still exercise at home. Video taped versions of AHOY classes are shown on Greensboro Television Network (GTN) at 8 am and 1 pm Mondays through Fridays. You can also purchase a copy of the AHOY DVD by calling 336-412-6311.

* AHOY "Cardio Sculpt" class is high energy, high intensity and focuses on interval training.
