Greensboro Parks and Recreation offer different youth girls programs that span from ages 5 through 15; designed to create a positive environment for youth by emphasizing each individual’s right to participate, good sportsmanship, promoting skill development, and fitness and well-being. Greensboro is nationally recognized as a Better Sports for Kids Quality Program Provider by the National Alliance for Youth Sports

 Girl's Youth Basketball 

The athletics section is excited to be offering a youth girls basketball league this spring for girls ages 8-13. Age divisions will be 8-10 years old and 11-13 years old. Games and practices will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays evenings starting the first week in April at the Greensboro Sportsplex, 2400 16th St. 

Summer League Information

Registration: February 24 - April 7. Online
Cost:  $75 per player - includes a game jersey
Draft Day: Tuesday, April 15
Time: 6:15 PM - 7:15 PM
Practice/Game Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays
Time: 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
