Purpose: The GYC Fashion Show promotes a positive self- and body-image for young men and women by showcasing fashions that fit all body types, as well as raises awareness about issues that affect teens, such as bullying.
Theme: This year's theme is "Not Another Teen Fashion Show" featuring fashions from popular TV shows and movies.
Show: The show will be held on Friday, March 15 at Caldcleugh Multicultural Center, 1700 Orchard St.
Doors open at 7:30 pm and the show begins at 8 pm. Admission is $3.
2019 Fashion Show Chair: Lupe Parada, a junior at the Middle College at UNC-Greensboro is this year's Fashion Show Chair. She enjoys playing music and singing, drawing, and watching TV shows and movies. Lupe also serves a tutor with the Hope Academy.
