The Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department offers internships to current college and university students. These internships develop future parks and recreation leaders through hands-on experience and close interaction with current employees. To be considered for a general Parks and Recreation internship, please submit the following via email:

• A formal cover letter describing your
  • Educational background
  • Related experience
  • Career goals and objectives
• An updated resume
• A minimum of three references (can be included on resume)
• University requirements (hours, duties, supervision, etc.)
• When you can begin and when your hours must be completed

Therapeutic Recreation Internships

Greensboro Parks and Recreation is proud to offer Therapeutic Recreation internships and practicum experiences under the supervision of a LRT/CTRS each semester. The application deadlines are:
