When
Ghoulash will be held from 2:30-5:30 pm on October 24, 2026. Vendors, music, games, food, candy stations, and more will be on site as you enjoy the festival. The event will occur, rain or shine.
Where
Center City Park and LeBauer Park host the majority of activities.
Parking available in the Church Street or Davie Street parking decks.

Bounce Houses & Inflatables
Inflatables and bounce houses are limited to children ages 2-10, and all participants must have a wristband and will be given 5 minutes to bounce.
Note: There will be a bounce house for children ages 2-5.
For entry, the Greensboro Youth Council requires a $5 donation per child.
All donations go directly to the Greensboro Youth Council to support youth leadership, service projects, and events!Activities with a Specific Time

Costume Contest Information
A $2 entry fee is required for all participants. A receipt will need to be shown to the attendant at the table to receive a card. All registration begins at 1:30 pm.

Volunteers
Note: These volunteer opportunities are open to current high school students only.
Want to help plan the event? Sign up to be on Ghoulash Staff. Deadline: September 21.
Staff positions include:
- Activities Manager: Leads the planning and coordination of games, inflatables, crafts, and other activity areas during the event.
- Costume Contest Manager: Organizes and oversees the costume contest, including registration, judging, and prizes.
- Activities Assistant: Supports activity areas, participant engagement, surveys, and overall event operations.
- Costume Contest Assistant: Assists with contest registration, judging coordination, prizes, and event logistics.

Community Liaison: Leads community survey efforts, helps coordinate outreach to community groups and participants, and engagement activities throughout the event.
For shifts 1 and 2, you will be assigned to an area. Areas to volunteer include, but are not limited to:
- Trick-or-Treater: Pass out candy to patrons.
- Wristband Attendant: Give out wristbands to patrons for inflatables.
- Inflatable Attendant: Assist with and ensure safety of patrons in inflatables.
- Costume Contest Attendant: Help with each contest such as lining up participants and registration
- Game Booth Attendant: Run a game booth. Reset the game and give out prizes, including Bingo.
Community Groups
Create a fun game or activity, like a basketball toss, and offer small prizes (candy, stickers, etc.). Include info or a QR code to minimize waste. Booths will be in Center City Park.

Vendors
Downtown Greensboro Parks, Inc. is accepting applications from fine arts & crafts, direct sales, and marketing vendors. Priority is given to fine arts & crafts.
- Merchandise Vendors (selling products) $50.00
- Marketing (info/no products to sell) $35.00
- Additional Electricity: $10.00
Applications for the Vendor Market are not available for yet fot this year.
