The report includes trends in population, housing, employment, and land use based on data collected by the City of Greensboro, as well as data from federal and state resources.
Key changes in Greensboro include:
Greater racial and ethnic diversity with more than half of the population identified as non-white or of Hispanic origin
A shrinking middle class and a doubling of low income households
Employment shifts from manufacturing to health care and education.
