Operation Yuletide is an initiative by members of the Greensboro Police Department (GPD) to bring some holiday cheer to good people who are experiencing tough times.
Throughout the year, GPD employees meet people who have been impacted by serious crimes, accidents, or an unfortunate turn of events. And each year those employees organize to provide gifts of new clothing, toys, and household items to deserving families nominated by the police department. These are people GPD has come in contact with over the year and been touched by their circumstances.
2018 Operation Yuletide
“Although this program is a GPD initiative, it is an event involving the entire city that benefits so many people.
This event brings out the best in our partners, and reinforces why Greensboro is such a great place to live,” said Chief of Police.
You can be part of Operation Yuletide by donating cleaning supplies, toys, school supplies, personal
