Several different services help ensure clean city streets.

Street Cleaning
Street sweepers remove trash from paved streets to keep debris from entering storm water systems. Flusher trucks use high-pressure streams of water to move debris to the curb where sweeper trucks remove it. Flushing service is available to private developers for a fee. Trucks also remove trash and other debris from islands, medians and underpasses.

Litter Removal
Our Mobile Litter Patrol travels throughout the city picking up trash and debris. The patrol also maintains bus stops, empties trash containers, and assists with special events. We also provide trash and debris removal from islands, medians and underpasses, and trim overgrown vegetation.

Dead Animal Removal
Call 373-CITY (2489) to report dead animals on city streets. The city also collects any dead animal placed at the curb. You may place it in a bag or box. Please do not put dead animals in your garbage can. Veterinarian hospitals may request dead animal pick-up for a fee.
