2040 Metropolitan Transportation Plan

The 2040 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (formerly called the Long Range Transportation Plan) was amended on November 8, 2017, to account for changes to the highway project listings resulting from Prioritization 4.0 and the FY 2018-2027 TIP development process. The amendment adds new projects not previously accounted for and updates existing projects for which significant project design and/or schedule changes have been identified. The document was on public review for the month of October 2017. Please note this document accounts for changes made to the MTP as adopted in September 2015. The full 2040 MTP document listed below remains in effect as amended. For information about other planned projects, including for other transportation modes, as well as extensive analysis and assessment of transportation issues and priorities in the area please see that document.

Draft MTP Amendment has been developed to make the 2040 MTP comply with new federal regulations. The amendment has been made to ensure transportation projects are able to move through the planning, design, right-of-way, and construction processes.
