The Public Participation Plan outlines procedures the MPO will follow to encourage public participation when updating plans and implementing projects. The MPO must update the plan every few years to ensure consistency, seek public input, and incorporate any changes.

The MPO works closely with partners to develop, maintain, and use the Piedmont Triad Regional Travel Demand Model. This tool is instrumental in identifying future transportation needs, developing the Metropolitan Transportation Plan, and developing project-level travel demand forecasts.

PTRM Houshold Travel Study

The MPO lead planning agency contracted and oversaw the project to complete the household travel survey for the PTRM update. Study report can be read here.
