The Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) originated from a series of meetings with an interdisciplinary group of stakeholders during the 2015 update to the Bicycle, Pedestrian, Trails and Greenways (BiPed) Plan.

BPAC is an ad-hoc group representing community members' relevant interest areas and perspectives, such as community development, biking, public health, running, and transit. As recommended in the 2015 BiPed Plan and the adopted Complete Streets Policy, BPAC meetings are held as collaborative opportunities to engage stakeholders in the implementation of the Plan’s recommendations.
