The Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) is the Metropolitan Planning Organization’s policy board and has a key role in making decisions about public investment in transportation services, infrastructure, planning within the region, and in communicating those decisions to the policy boards of its member agencies.

TAC Meetings are open to the public and held virtually starting at 2 PM on the date of the meeting. The meetings are accessible online and by phone.  

Public Comments

All comments received by 5 pm on the Tuesday before a meeting will be provided to the TAC during the meeting. Submit comments by email, via fax to 336-412-6171, or call 336-373-4184. To speak during the public comment portion of the meeting, sign up by 5 pm on the Tuesday before the meeting. Speakers are limited to a maximum of three minutes.
