North Elm Street-Pisgah Church Road Intersection Improvement Project
Project Overview
The City of Greensboro proposes to improve the North Elm Street and Pisgah Church Road intersection. The project includes widening the roadway to accommodate new turn lanes and the construction of concrete medians at the intersection approaches. Sidewalks will be relocated, as needed, to maintain connectivity and pedestrian crossings improved to include cross walks and pedestrian signals.
The proposed project would increase mobility and reduce congestion and idling time at the intersection, while also enhancing pedestrian connectivity and safety in the busy corridor.
