Hill Street Closure Begins December 8
Beginning on Monday, December 8, Hill Street, from Battleground Avenue to West Bessemer Avenue, will be closed until Tuesday, December 23, for sanitary sewer construction.

Annual Paving Projects
Repaving Projects
The City will repave 25 additional miles in the 2024 fall extension paving list Projects were selected based on an analysis of pavement conditions as well as factors such as traffic volume, safety, and utility construction schedules.
Road Redesigns & New Bike Lanes
Before paving, the Greensboro Department of Transportation will evaluate whether the road markings should be redesigned to make safety improvements or enhancements for cyclists or pedestrians. This is part of the City's long-range plans to make Greensboro a car-optional community and fulfills the goals of the Bicycling and Pedestrian Plan Update.
