The Piedmont Triad's GIS Day Event
The City of Greensboro and other regional partners kick off the 26th anniversary of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Day by hosting an annual GIS Day event for college students and the general public! The event celebrates innovative GIS applications that provide analysis and visualization, as well as insights into geospatial data to many organizations, including the City of Greensboro. The City joins hundreds of organizations worldwide hosting in-person and virtual gatherings to celebrate the impactful work of GIS professionals and to help ignite the imaginations of future GIS innovators.
Join us for a day of discovery and networking. College students interested in internships within the industry, with the City, or other regional partners are encouraged to participate. Drop in at your leisure. Participation is free, and advanced registration is not required. Certificates of participation are available to those with a valid email address provided at sign-in.
