Poster Contest Information

The City of Greensboro sponsors an annual poster contest open to all Guilford County students in grades K-8 (public, private, and home schools). The contest encourages students to explore the vital role of water in our lives and the importance of conservation.

Posters are judged for three divisions:

  • Division A for Kindergarten – 2nd grades
  • Division B for 3rd – 5th grades
  • Division C for 6th – 8th grades

Winners are announced in the spring and receive special recognition from the City’s Water Resources Department and a prize.

The winning posters in each division will represent Greensboro in a statewide competition sponsored by the NC Section of the American Water Works Association/Water Environment Association
