City of Greensboro
The City of Greensboro works to maintain a unique sense of community and to provide a quality of life rivaled by few with its many services and programs. As a part of this service, accessibility is crucial in providing our residents up-to-date, timely information.
City of Greensboro employees strive to live up to the four core values of honesty, integrity, respect, and stewardship everyday. Our objective is to continue to provide the residents of Greensboro with the best services possible. Whether you visit us online or in person, we are committed to making your experience in Greensboro a positive one.
The City's administrative offices are in the Melvin Municipal Office Building, 300 W. Washington St., and are open Mondays through Fridays, from
8 am to 5 pm.
Our job is to help Greensboro to continue to grow as a great place to live and work. We welcome everyone who wishes to invest in the City. As investors go through the City’s development review process, construction review process and building inspections, disagreements may occur about what the City’s ordinances, regulations or policies require.
These processes do include formal appeal procedures to address such situations; however, the City Manager’s Office is always available to hear any concerns you may have. Our goal is to make sure that everyone feels they have been fairly heard in attempting to resolve disagreements. Please contact our office at 336-373-2002 if you have questions or concerns.
