UPDATE (April 18, 2022): Both the City's and the County's federal emergency rent and utility assistance programs are now closed. The programs are no longer accepting applications due to reaching the end of their allotted funding.  

UPDATE (February 17, 2022): The Guilford County Board of Commissioners, repealed its COVID-19 mask mandate that went into place on January 13, 2022. Masks/face coverings are no longer required in City facilities. 

UPDATE (January 10, 2022): The City of Greensboro and the Greensboro Transit Agency are partnering with Guilford County Schools to provide alternative student transportation.  

UPDATE (October 20, 2021): City Council Meetings to Partially Open to the Public
Beginning Monday, November 1, 2021, Greensboro City Council meetings will be partially opened with a limited capacity to residents.
